I believe you shouldn't put anything on your body that you wouldn't eat.

With that in mind, I've designed pure products made from entirely naturally derived ingredients using the least amount of processing possible.

The proof is in the label, you should be able to recognise every ingredient, and below you can understand why each ingredient has been carefully selected for my products.

Coconut Oil

Coconut oil is a wonderful natural moisturizer with a high vitamin E content, which helps repair skin. It is high in lauric acid which has anti-microbial properties.

Shea Butter

Shea butter is a powerful moisturizer with a high concentration of vitamins and fatty acids. It helps boost the skin's natural collagen production and is high in oleic and stearic acids which protect and nourish the skin to promote skin softening and wrinkle reduction. It is also non-comedogenic so it won't clog pores, making it a fantastic facial moisturizer.

Argan Oil

Argan oil, nicknamed liquid gold, is grown mainly in Morocco, and is rich in Vitamins A and E. It is rich in anti-oxidants, Omega-6 fatty acids and linoleic acid which helps ease inflammation and is a fantastic moisturizer. It absorbs quickly and is non-comedogenic so it makes a great facial oil.

Cane Sugar

Cane sugar is a very effective exfoliant, best for use on the body due to its rough texture. It is a natural humectant (draws moisture from the environment to the skin) and high in glycolic acid which can be used to treat damaged or aging skin.

Organic sugar is sourced for the Vanilla Body Scrub, Brown Sugar Body Scrub and Brown Sugar Lip Polish, and refined sugar for the Lemon Poppy Seed Body Scrub and Grapefruit Lip Polish.

Beeswax

Beeswax helps to lock in moisture which helps keep skin firm, and helps with skin softening. It is rich in anti-oxidants and vitamin A. It has anti-microbial properties which help heal rough skin.

Vanilla

Vanilla has a delightfully spicy fragrance that soothes and calms. It is rich in antioxidants and can help slow down the formation of fine lines and wrinkles and is a  good source of B vitamins which contribute to healthy skin.

Madagascan Bourbon Vanilla beans sourced have a rich, dark and creamy and sweet fragrance.

Lemon Essential Oil

With its refreshing aroma, this oil is a great pick me up. Applied topically it can also help reduce acne and nourish damaged skin.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a powerful antioxidant, fighting free radicals and helping keep skin looking youthful. It is beneficial both applied topically and also as part of your nutrition.

Vitamin E is sourced only from natural sources.

Mango Butter

Mango Seed Butter has moisturising essential fatty acids and is rich in oleic acid. It benefits the skin by promoting collagen production, fading scars and stretch marks, and keeping skin firm and youthful through the Vitamin A content. (Source)

It can help protect from sun damage, or soothe sunburnt skin.

Honey

Honey is naturally antibacterial so it's great for helping clear acne. It's also filled with potent antioxidants that help fight free radical damage. It's a natural humectant, so it helps draw moisture to the skin.

Raw honey retains its naturally beneficial properties.

Himalayan Sea Salt

Himalayan Sea Salt is considered the purest salt available. Sea Salts are natural purifiers that remove toxins blocking skins pores. Salt scrubs are ideal for smoothing feet and elbows as the granules work a little harder than sugar scrubs.

Lavender Essential Oil

Lavender is a particularly calming scent, and the essential oil can relieve pain, calm the nerves, treat headaches and improve sleep patterns.

Grapefruit Essential Oil

Grapefruit Essential Oil is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, helping fight free radicals. It has stimulating effects on the body and mind, as well as the lymphatic and circulatory systems.

Mint

Peppermint oil has the ability to improve circulation as well as respiratory problems.

Rose Essential Oil

Rose Essential Oil is extracted by steam distillation of rose petals. It is considered an antidepressant and also an aphrodisiac, amongst many other properties.

Poppy Seeds

Poppy Seeds are an excellent mild exfoliator due to their soft edges. They contain many essential fatty acids and minerals.

Raspberries

Raspberries are filled with vitamins and minerals as well as antioxidants

Dried raspberries can be found in the Raspberry Lemonade Lip Balm.

Sunflower Oil

Sunflower oil is rich in Vitamin E, which prevents damage to skin cells by the sun's UV light. It's emollient properties help the skin retain moisture, and the antioxidant properties help prevent premature signs of ageing.

Safflower Oil

Safflower oil is high in linoleic acid which can help to unclog pores and reduce blackheads. It helps stimulate the regeneration of skin, reducing blemishes and scars.
